About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to provide mobile patrol services at a commercial real estate location in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The role includes routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. Because this is a driving post, a valid driver’s license is required under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $19.57 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual activity or potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site procedures; communicate concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.
