About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Conley, Georgia. The role involves providing unarmed patrol and security support while maintaining a visible presence and a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Officers communicate professionally, respond to site needs, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, and innovation. The position pays $16.33 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required for employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
