About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time X Ray Inspection in Fort Worth, Texas. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The assigned site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may vary their total hours by picking up shifts, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. The position supports security operations at a logistics and distribution facility, including business and warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter. Employment is part-time, with possible additional shifts.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• X-ray screening experience.
• A guard card and/or license.
• Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility, including business and warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and delivery driver entry procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Report unusual activity, potential hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
