About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol position in a healthcare setting in Albany, Georgia. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and facility property by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and responding to security concerns. The role requires a valid driver’s license. The stated schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at $15.00 per hour. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with healthcare facility protocols, notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and access control; report unusual activity.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with site leadership, hospital staff, and emergency responders as needed.
