About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol officer for a financial institution in Orlando, Florida. The officer will help safeguard the site, maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The role is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and pays $18.57 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, and identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assist with credential verification, provide visitor directions, and answer access-related questions.
• Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
