About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer serving as an Access Point Attendant at a retail location in Denver, Pennsylvania, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, conduct routine patrols, and provide customer service and communication. The scheduled hours are Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Candidates must be comfortable using a computer or tablet and have customer service experience as part of the pre-employment requirements. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and customers while following site-specific procedures and access control protocols.
Monitor entrances, exits, delivery areas, and other designated access points; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals as needed.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation according to site-specific policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, and notify appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
