About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in East Greenville, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on truck-gate access control and helping maintain a secure environment. The officer serves employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, communicating professionally, and documenting security-related information using computer or tablet systems.

The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Experience with access control systems and badge management, including issuing, tracking, and managing employee access badges.
• Comfort using computers or tablets for daily tasks, including navigating software applications, managing email, and using online resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control access to restricted production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas according to established site requirements.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
