About The Position

The Security Officer - Non-Commissioned maintains a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and clients by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The role also responds to alarms and emergencies, completes reports, and communicates with local law enforcement as needed. The position is located in Sherman, Texas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active security license.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence.
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain premises security.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, including medical emergencies and criminal activity.
• Investigate and report suspicious behavior or activity.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as needed.
• Communicate with local law enforcement as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
