About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Henrico, Virginia. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. The role also involves monitoring access points, responding to alarms and incidents, documenting activity, and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. The schedule is Monday and Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour. Employees can use the company's Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as permitted by law.

Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations.
Identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry according to site procedures.
Assist with directing visitors and contractors.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
Prepare clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
