About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for overnight shifts at a food and beverage manufacturing location in Fremont, Ohio. The officer will safeguard the client site by managing access, monitoring activity, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers. The role pays $16.48 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting security-related concerns.
Monitor restricted-area access and delivery and shipping activity, and document incidents, observations, and access-control activity.
