About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time overnight Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in Rosemont, Illinois, serving a retail and mall location. The officer will help safeguard clients and visitors by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and providing professional customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and pays $18.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors with directions and site-related information.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity according to site-specific reporting procedures.
