As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Customer Assistance in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will conduct highly visible bicycle patrols throughout a busy downtown environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming experience for visitors, businesses, and community members. You will communicate professionally, respond to routine concerns, and document observations using technology. Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, businesses, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned downtown public areas, business corridors, sidewalks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations; prepare clear and timely incident and daily activity reports.
• Maintain a professional presence, provide directions and assistance, and communicate respectfully with clients, tenants, visitors, local businesses, and law enforcement personnel.
