As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct visible bike patrols throughout assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. You will ride a bike for extended periods, observe and report activity, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence and courteous communication.
