As an Access Control Security Officer at a leading automotive location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive facility, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring restricted areas, controlling access to designated locations, and reporting suspicious activity to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
