About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Atlanta, Georgia. The role provides a designated site and fixed weekly shift as a dependable base schedule, with a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the option to increase hours up to 40 per week or scale back. The position pays $15.40 per hour and has a listed shift of Tuesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Duties include unarmed mobile patrols of a commercial property and documenting observations and activities. Applicants are subject to background and drug screening as permitted by law; licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• At least five years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21 or older for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property conditions, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
