As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Guided by a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity, you will help to deter incidents while assisting tenants, visitors, and staff throughout the property.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, lobbies, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help support authorized entry, visitor direction, and adherence to site rules and property expectations.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and property-related concerns, and assist with alarm response, lock and unlock procedures, and other assigned post duties.
