Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Union City, Georgia. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while working with a team. The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or security concerns.
- Monitor access points and vehicle entry and exit activity according to site-specific procedures, maintaining required logs and documentation.
- Observe conditions throughout the location and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
