About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in San Antonio, Texas. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, helping deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role follows site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities. The schedule is Wednesday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Thursday 2:00 PM–12:00 AM, Saturday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Sunday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Pay is $21.22 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Access control and badge experience.
A guard card or license.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, including authorized-entry procedures and restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Accurately document patrols, observations, incidents, and communications in required logs and reports.
