About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring licensed Security Officers for a data center in New Albany, approximately 12 miles north of Columbus. Officers will work with data center systems, CCTV, and VMS; control ingress and egress; conduct rounds; monitor visitors and surveillance; and patrol the premises. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The rate is $21.00 per hour. Marksman can assist with security license renewal.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Ohio security license.
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
• At least one year of prior security experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest and visitor access as needed, and eject trespassers or violators from the premises when necessary.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the interior and exterior perimeter to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Control ingress and egress and make rounds.
• Perform other duties as determined by operations.
