About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking seasonal Security Officers to conduct vehicle traffic control at an outdoor shopping mall. The role includes safeguarding clients, providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Workdays are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with afternoon/evening shifts of 4–8 hours per day. The position is part-time and pays $25 per hour. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle traffic control at an outdoor shopping mall.
• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
