About The Position

Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer performs duties that help maintain the security of the building, grounds, and all persons therein. The role also provides patient observations as ordered by a physician. This is a per diem position.

Requirements

• High school education required.
• Valid New York State driver's license with a clear driving record consistent with FLH Policy.
• New York State Security Guard Registration, including completion of 8-hour pre-assignment training.
• Good driving history and ability to travel to multiple locations as requested.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and deal with people professionally and courteously.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and promote teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• 16-hour Security Guard course.
• CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
• Previous security experience.
