About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual Response Security Officer for its Hartford, Connecticut site. This is an on-call/per-diem role with no set schedule and required weekend and overnight availability. The officer’s assignments vary by day and special event and may include customer service, patrols, surveillance, and coverage of the supervisor, GSOC, and badging office. Applicants must have experience in all of those coverage areas. The role requires adapting quickly and precisely as assignments and situations change.

The officer monitors and patrols premises, controls access, responds to incidents, and helps protect people and property while providing customer service. The position pays $23.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.

• Demonstrate responsiveness and strong problem-solving skills.
• Have a state license if required.
• Have experience covering the supervisor, GSOC, and badging office.
