About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Patrol Officer to support a financial institution location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients, visitors, and employees by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to incidents and concerns, monitoring access, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $29.40 per hour.

Requirements

CPO certification is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Must participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to financial institution clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact emergency services and notify site leadership when required.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly about incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
