Security Officer - Full-Time / Nights
About The Position
Sagewood is seeking a full-time night Security Officer to help provide safety and security for residents, guests, and staff. The position monitors and patrols the property, escorts and assists residents and guests, and responds to emergency medical situations. The officer uses EMT skills to triage situations and provide CPR and/or First Aid as needed. The role also protects community assets and handles minor emergency maintenance. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with the option to pick up additional nights and weekend hours. The job is located at Sagewood, 4555 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, Arizona. A flu vaccination is required; the posting also states that compliance with the LCE COVID-19 Vaccination Policy is required for community employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of security experience.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- CPR, BLS, and First Aid certifications before the start date.
- Ability to obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card; assistance obtaining the card is available.
- Arizona DPS unarmed guard certification; assistance obtaining the certification is available.
- Ability to communicate effectively and calmly in spoken and written English and make rational decisions in critical situations.
- Flu vaccination is required.
- Ability to comply with the LCE COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
Nice To Haves
- Arizona EMT certificate licensed in Arizona; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
