About The Position

As a Security Officer Facility Entry Coordination in Earth City, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including logistics and distribution. At a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring entry activity, and assisting visitors and employees professionally. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing customer service and clear communication. The role is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements required by applicable state or local law before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying identification, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity at access points, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow established site procedures, and communicate relevant details to supervision.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
