About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for emergency dispatch in Montgomery, Alabama. The role provides a consistent assigned-site shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The designated weekly anchor shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may work additional hours, potentially building up to 40 hours per week, and can scale back when needed. The pay rate is $17.93 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The officer provides customer service and security support at a commercial real estate location, including dispatching calls and alarms, monitoring security systems, maintaining records, responding to incidents, and conducting property patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency-response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, maintenance concerns, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communication systems, cameras, alarms, and other security equipment; maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, coordinating with onsite personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter.
