About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for bicycle patrol at a corporate property in Tempe, Arizona. The officer will monitor and patrol the property, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service. The role is scheduled five days per week—Monday and Thursday through Sunday—from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Pay is $20.60 per hour.

Applicants must have at least six months of security-related experience, be able to ride a bicycle, be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR and First Aid certification, customer service experience, and access control and badge experience are preferred. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random bicycle patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Support access control activities and respond to concerns.
