About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Store Reception in Euclid, Ohio. The position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift serves as an anchor schedule and requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to work more hours, up to 40 hours per week, with the ability to scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $17.62 per hour.

The role supports a welcoming retail environment by providing customer service and carrying out site-specific security procedures. The officer staffs a front desk or entry point, welcomes and directs visitors, verifies access, maintains logs, issues or collects credentials as directed, and responds professionally to incidents and concerns.

The scheduled shift is Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require candidates to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store visitors, associates, vendors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk or entry point, greet and direct visitors, and remain aware of activity in the assigned area.
• Verify visitor, contractor, and vendor access according to site procedures; maintain required logs; and issue or collect credentials as directed.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
