About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a food and beverage location. The role provides a fixed weekly daytime shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale back. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour, paid weekly. The scheduled shift is Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
• CPR certification.
• A guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols.
• Greet and screen incoming visitors, verify appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor facility access, receive and direct deliveries, and communicate visitor activity or access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor front desk communications, document daily activity, and report unusual conditions in accordance with site policies.
