Security Officer Part Time Patrol Credentialing
About The Position
As a part-time Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is an unarmed patrol driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, support access control, and provide customer service. The role offers a flexible schedule, with shifts available through the company’s Claim a Shift platform. The listed schedule is Thursday and Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by applicable law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and support verification of authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers entering and exiting the location.
- Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns according to site-specific reporting procedures.
