Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facilities, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
Support compliance with controlled-access requirements and protect sensitive materials, information, and equipment through adherence to established procedures.
