About The Position

The Security Officer maintains a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across all areas of the property. The role protects guests, employees, and assets; enforces company and regulatory policies; and responds to incidents or emergencies. The position is full-time and is identified as 1st shift in Bettendorf.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail when examining guest identification and behavior.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to stand for long periods and frequently push, pull, bend, and walk.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
• High school degree or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to learn other Security-specific programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family Style Service to guests and staff.
• Offer directions, answer questions, and help resolve issues courteously and patiently for guests and Team members.
• Assist with table and slot drops, cash escorts, chip fills, and other money-handling procedures.
• Respond rapidly and assist with medical and safety emergencies.
• Document incidents clearly using reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with state gaming regulations, hotel policies, and local laws.
• Monitor all areas of the property for suspicious behavior and regulatory violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
