About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Security Presence in Little Rock, Arkansas, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare technology environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture. This is a part-time position paying $17.46 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Loss prevention experience.
• Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, security policies, and healthcare-location emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations while following post orders and applicable protocols.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with visitor, vendor, and vehicle traffic according to site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities, and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
