About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a gatehouse and patrol role in Las Vegas, Nevada. The officer provides customer service, observes and reports activity, responds rapidly to critical situations, enforces site procedures, and conducts vehicle and foot patrols. Gatehouse duties include access control for community members and guests, checking IDs, answering phones, and handling deliveries. The position follows a 40-hour work week, Friday through Tuesday, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Holiday work may be scheduled.

Requirements

Have a copy of a high school diploma or GED.
Have at least 2 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience in an upscale HOA community.
Have a current PILB.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be able to work holidays as scheduled for the shift.
Be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Have a strong work ethic.
Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service.
Professionally answer calls received at the site.
Observe and survey the area and report activity at the assigned location.
Respond rapidly to critical situations.
Read and write detailed reports, including reports concerning rude guests or residents.
Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards as appropriate.
Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols safely.
Provide access control for community members and guests, including checking IDs, answering phones, and handling deliveries in the gatehouse.
