About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol security officer at a commercial real estate location in Seattle, Washington, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and follow site-specific security procedures. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.67 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow established site procedures, and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with property management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
