Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while verifying access permissions, directing foot traffic, and documenting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
• Support government location operations by assisting with crowd management, providing directions and information, and maintaining a professional presence during routine activity and/or elevated traffic periods.
