Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe public areas and restricted locations for security-related concerns, documenting incidents and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
Assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic during busy periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions while maintaining a professional presence.
