About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer – Driver Patrol for a mall in Carson, California. The position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to pick up additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift is a fixed commitment for six months; additional shifts may be claimed to increase earnings, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

The scheduled anchor shift is Tuesday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. The role includes providing customer service, following security procedures and site policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
