About The Position

As a Security Officer X Ray Threat Detection in West Palm Beach, Florida, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. The position is full-time and pays $15.24 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery driver entry procedures according to site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
