About The Position

As a Security Officer Welcome Desk Agent in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage access procedures, verify identification and/or visitor records, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Answer phones, greet arriving guests, direct traffic to appropriate departments, and document routine and unusual activity in required logs and reports.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and supporting site response protocols as needed.
  • Observe lobby and entrance areas for unusual behavior, report concerns promptly, and assist with badge issuance, package release procedures, and other assigned front desk duties.
