About The Position

As a Security Officer - Welcome Center in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through established access control and visitor management procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, direct arrivals, and maintain front desk logs, reports, and other documentation related to security-related activities.
  • Observe cameras, entry points, and surrounding front desk areas for unusual activity, and report concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
