Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor check-in support, and other front desk security-related duties appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, help to identify unusual or unauthorized behavior, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Assist with access control processes by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and communicating entry guidelines to guests and/or staff.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support emergency response activities by notifying appropriate personnel and following post orders and site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate front desk records, incident notes, and shift communications to support ongoing security-related operations at the location.
