As a Security Officer Welcome Center in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor access materials, and maintaining entry records in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support security-related documentation, reporting, and front desk administrative tasks for a logistics and distribution location.
  • Observe lobby and reception activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts to help to deter disruptions at the location.
