In this highly visible role, you will help to create a positive first impression while assisting with badge procedures, visitor screening, and front desk coverage as part of a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors, verifying identification and/or credentials, and following site-specific access procedures for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, manage visitor sign-in processes, issue access materials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts, medical staff, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Support security-related procedures by documenting visitor activity, maintaining accurate front desk records, answering phones, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding access concerns and unusual activity.
  • Assist with site-specific policies involving deliveries, appointments, and restricted areas, and provide professional service to people entering and leaving the location.
