Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, patrons, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at parking facilities and transportation-related locations.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking garages, surface lots, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and pedestrian and vehicle traffic patterns, assisting with access control, rule compliance, and general questions from the public.
  • Support daily operations by observing conditions at the location, reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues, and communicating with site contacts during routine and unusual events.
