Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel or resort setting.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor and contractor screening, and communicate with hotel personnel regarding security-related matters.
• Support daily operations by documenting incidents, following post orders, and providing a professional presence that helps to deter disturbances and/or unauthorized access.
