Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify potential issues and support site protocols.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers, following access control procedures and verifying credentials in accordance with site guidelines.
- Assist with observing utility infrastructure and restricted areas for trespassing, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate concerns promptly through established reporting channels.
