Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a hospitality location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach while adapting to the needs of guests, staff, and the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and activity across the location, assisting with directions, visitor interactions, and reporting maintenance, housekeeping, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.
- Support hotel and resort operations by remaining visible throughout the location, communicating with staff regarding incidents or guest concerns, and following post orders for routine and after-hours coverage.
