About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Services in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain a secure environment for associates, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records.
  • Control entry and exit at designated gates, doors, and receiving areas; communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and documenting relevant details.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
