Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional front-desk customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site-specific policies for an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor access to the facility, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support controlled entry procedures for employees, guests, deliveries, and authorized personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide general site information, and maintain clear, accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and visitor interactions.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing front-desk activity, reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations, and coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
